Welcome to the 2025 Golf Season!

The 2025 Golf Season kicks off Sunday April 6th.  We’d like to welcome everyone to the new season and look forward to another great year of golf and memories.  Make sure to renew your EGB permit, pay your dues to Jim ASAP, and tell Jeff if you are playing or not starting 4/6/25......REMEMBER TO POST YOUR SCORES THE SAME DAY YOU PLAY!

HANDICAP UPDATES (2025 to be posted soon):

REMINDER:  The World Handicap system remains in effect, which means your max score on a hole is "Net Double Bogey", which means double bogey, plus any strokes you would get on that hole based on your handicap.  For example, if your course handicap is 20, you get one stroke on every hole, except the hardest 2 holes you would get two strokes.

TWO IMPORTANT HANDICAP CHANGES FOR THIS YEAR
1.     Treatment of 9-hole scores:  In 2024, when a player posts a 9-hole round, it will be combined with their expected score for 9-holes to create an 18-hole score that will be used in their handicap revision immediately. 

2.     Holes Not Played:  In 2024, when a player does not complete a hole (with a valid reason) and anywhere from 10-17 holes are played, an 18-hole Score will be determined by adding the players Score from the holes played to the expected Score for the holes not played.  You will need to post each hole in order to calculate from the holes that were played to combine with the expected score for the holes not played.
